Sotogrande is 1,5 hours from the International Airport Pablo Ruiz Picasso of Málaga, the capital of Costa del Sol. From Sotogrande to the Airport you can either take the motorway AP7 (payable) or take the National road (N340). Do allow for enough time when leaving for the airport, as there may be quite some cues entering the airport area.
On the other hand, a very convenient airport for Sotogrande is the one in Gibraltar, which is only 20 minutes from the urbanisation. However, from this airport only flights from/to England are possible.
One other airport, quite distant however, would be the Airport of Jerez.
