Sotogrande is not a borough, not a town, not even a village.. it has no history of its own, but, Sotogrande is the urbanisation with plenty of possibilities, with more offer and glamour than anywhere else along the coastline of Costa del Sol and this at an age of only 40 years! This place was categorized as a Touristic centre of national interest. Sotogrande Spain is part of the San Roque borough, which borders with Manilva, the Malaga province and last town beloning to the Malaga province to the east. La Linea de la Concepción to the east and with Castellar de la Frontera to the north.

Sotogrande is the meca of the golf in the province of Cadiz, in southern Spain. It's connection with the Costa del Sol is very important. There are 9 golf courses in it's domains, from towns like San Roque, which is in the locality of the surroundings of Gibraltar that has grown tremendously. From Sotogrande you'll have incredible views of Africa and the entire Straits of Gibraltar. Hercule's towers, Gibraltar and Jewel Musa are seen perfectly.

The urbanization of Sotogrande also has a luxurious marina, it is one of the most important Polo clubs in the world. The world Polo matches are played here. This residential urbanization is the envy of many cities. It has shopping centers, great access to other towns of the Costa del Sol, the Costa de la luz and so much more. You can get there by airplane, the nearest airports being in Malaga and Gibraltar.

Sotogrande is an outdoor activity like polo and golf, but also other sports like tennis, horseback riding, and of course sailing.

For all these reasons Sotogrande is the perfect spot for your holidays. It doesn't have an extensive coastline, but is' beaches with dark sand are equipped with the best services. Aquatic sports like sailing, tennis, and horseback riding are other offers that this small paradise has to ffer. You can stay in a hotel, or rent a house, chalet or apartment.
