If you are a golf lover, you must know that in Sotogrande you will find some of the best golf courses, You have a choice of four and you will enjoy every one of them.
The four clubs are the club de golf de Valderrama, creator: Jaime Ortiz Patiño; the Real Club de Golf of Sotogrande as the Club de Golf La Cañada and the San Roque Club.The Valderrama Club is simply magnificient and the specialised press voted this one for three times the best golf course in the world and which was designed by Robert Trent Jones with a magical touch by Severiano Ballesteros.
Then there is the Real Club de Golf of Sotogrande, designed in 1964 by Robert Trent Jones, a lovely run down of 18 holes. This one is considered as one of the best courses of the country.
On the other side there is La Cañada a golf course also designed by Trent Jones. And last, the San Roque Club, the golf course of the Japanese company Asahi Kanko. It has 18 holes and was designed by Dave Thomas.
