This is a British Colony for the past three centuries. The famous Rock has 30.000 inhabitants and borders to the north with La Línea de la Concepción, to the east with the Mediterranean Sea and to the east with the Bay of Algeciras.

Many peoples passed by its shores, from the Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs to the Christians. However, things changed dramatically in 1705 with the invastion of the British troops. Since then until today, Gibraltar remained to be British territory.
