The climate in Sotogrande is the Mediterranean climate, that is soft and warm with 300 days of sunshine all year round. The lowest temperatures in the winter are between 8ºC-9ºC, whilst the maximum in the summer may be 30ºC on very rare occasions the may rise up to 40ºC.

The hottest months in this region are June, July and August and the rain may start in November going on until February. January and February are also the coldest months. If you like kiting or windsurfing, we recommend your visit between May and September. If you like to play golf, any time of the year is good, however during spring, from April to June, you will enjoy your game most, because of all the surrounding lush vegetation and the mild climate. For Polo players, the summer sees the most activities in the Santa María Polo Club.
